You can call me crazy, but maybe I am, for what I’m going to write next is another crazy thing that I do, 20 days^* after I did a crazy thing last time.

Went to Sungai Wang Plaza to help my friend exchange his phone. Then I stop by at my usual shop (the shop that I bought my old PS2, bought PS2 to Cikgu Azmy, bought Gameboy Advance SP and bough slimline PS2) mainly to see if there is any new PS2 games around.

Xbox 360 is due out soon. It simple means that the old Xbox should have a little price drops. After asking the shopper of how Xbox cost now, it’s quite cheap nowadays.

Oh god. I just don’t know why. My heart is weakened with the persuasion by the beauty of the graphic that Xbox produce. I’m falling to it.

Furthermore, I’ve been hearing cool things from George, my Taiwan colleague, of what he can do with his Xbox. There are a number of hacks for Xbox out there and he stores so many DivX movies on his Xbox’s harddisk. Definately will have a chat with him soon of what other things that he has his Xbox do.

So below is Xbox in the buying. I ‘m testing the unit to see it is OK.

Guess what! My jigsaw puzzle solving craze is back. Bought a new one at Jigsaw World, Times Square last Sunday. Below is the new jigsaw puzzle that I bought.

This time it’s more challenging. My Penang friend also bought the same one and we are competing between us to see who can finish the puzzle first.

Anyway, my friend has MMS his progress this afternoon. Wah! This can’t be it. I even not started yet but he already 30% finished.

So tonight, I collected all the aura there is, and start opening the new puzzle. So here is what we have in the box.

I opened the plastic bag containing the puzzle pieces. And here are them, ready to get started.

So, the first thing to finish is the outer rim of the whole puzzle, since this is the easiet to do. Just find the pieces that have straight line cutting, and you know they are meant for the 4 edges. Then assemble them together, and you have

Then separate the pieces by colour, and it’s easy to do the distinct object first. So I finish up the characters part first, and leave the sky and grass for later. Below is my progress as at 12:28am just now.

Kinda sleepy now. I will continue tomorrow. Can’t wait to get this one finished ^_^

Even your computer can get messy if you are not tidying it up. So today, I decided to do some chores of doing a computer keeping.

First thing is to clean my desktop. Look at how messy my desktop is. All the the downloaded softwares, temporary files and folders that I create, images etc etc. Got to delete the not needed ones, and put away others in jobs folders on my network, for My Documents folder of my PC.

Secondly is my second inbox on the exchange server that I use to catch bounces back from mailing campaign that we do. My my. 30,043 unread emails. Got to move that to another PST files, and archive it for data mining later.

Wow. This is easily took up 45 mins of my time, especially the second task. It takes ages to download all those email from exchange server to my PC.

Lately, I noticed that less and less people are getting into my blog (the counter shows the drop in the number of visits). Quickly checking the log reveals that people is having difficulty of entering my blog. Somehow, they are keep doing refresh, probably due to the page freezing while my blog page load.

Thanks to Nobita & Azmi for the comments that you guys left in the tagboard. It’s kinda strange. I didn’t see at all that my blog loads really slow (both using Firefox and Internet Explorer although Internet Explorer takes longer to load). Last time during my Hari Raya holiday, accessing my blog using dialup, the load time seems so reasonable too.

Anyway, the main reason for the slow down is the scroller that I use as the header of the template. That one really uses lots and lots of javascript, and really slows down Internet Explorer.

But scroller no more. I did a minor change to the header part of my template. And below how it looks like now.

Really hope that this will speed up the loading of my blog page.

Yay! Guess it works. Check the log just now, and found out this person can move from one page to another in average of 6 seconds.

It still takes long, but it is way better than before.

Been doing a shopping for new DVD movies and PS2 games in the past several days. Below are DVDs that just being put into hard DVD case (bought that at Carrefour) and ready to get into my collection.

I love collecting movies DVD, and below is the collection of all Movie DVDs that I have,

and I also love collecting PS2 DVD games, and below is the collection of all PS2 DVD Games that I have.

Do you know that all the DVDs that I have on the rack above are sorted in alphabetical order? Hahaha. Just being girlish here.

Before, I only keep the list of movie and games DVDs that I have in a simple Excel worksheet. But as my collection grows bigger, it’s getting harder to manage my collection.

But now not anymore. I use Collectorz.com Movie Collector software to organize my Movie DVD collection.

I like this software. The information about the DVD, and also the front cover image is extracted from various website, and Amazon US is the one that I always use.

Ahhh.. The software says that I have 128 Movie DVDs already. This will definately grow next month.

Collectorz.com not only have a software for organizing your movie DVD collection, but it also have other softwares. For my PS2 Game DVD collection, I use Collectorz.com Game Collector software to organize it.

Same as above, the data and front cover image is downloaded automatically from various website, and again Amazon US is the one that I always use.

It seems that so far I have 103 PS2 Game DVDs.

So, these 2 softwares help me with sorting my DVDs in alphabetical order on the rack. And another feature that I use most is Loan Manager. So if my friend borrow any DVD from me, I will put the information in the software, and I can get the list of the DVDs that are on loan easily, together with the name of the person who borrow it. It’s easy to find out who should I call/ask to get my DVD back.

But personally, I don’t like people borrowing my DVD. Why? Am I stingy? No… It’s not that. If they handle my DVD carefully, I don’t mind. But most of the time, there are fingerprints, dusts and sometimes, ugly scratch can be found on the surface of the returned DVD.

Hah. A new thing has been added to my blog’s template. It is ClustrMaps. I found that from Yazid’s blog a while ago, and I just registered myself one too.

ClustrMaps is one wicked visitor counter. It actually shows from where the visitors came on the mini map.

Click on it, and you get the bigger view of the map, like below

Register it, and you will get more features, like allowing you to have up to 100,000 visitors daily, getting a large map that you can zoom in into each continent and stores an unlimited archive of old maps.

Will I upgrade? Mmm. Let’s wait a while first. I just want to see how realiable the service is.
