It is only now that I have a strength to sit in front of the computer, and continue blogging again. It’s been a week of full of sickness.

Started with Oyen getting sick on last Saturday. Actually he showed the sign of about to get sick since Friday. When I got back from work, he’s not loud and active as usual (and he’s the loudest one). But still eating well.

It was only on Saturday that he refused to eat, and needs accompany all the time. When I stroke him, I can feel his body is hot. I put him on my bed as usual to let him rest. I need to do work at my computer table, and Oyen refuses to stay on the bed alone, and sleep next to me.

This is the photo that I took last Saturday of Oyen sleeping next to my feet while I’m at my computer table. He looks so uncomfortable, and just sleep all the time. Brought him to the vet on Sunday.

On Monday, Oyen started to show improvement. He started to eat again and started to be active again. But still week a little. First day, the vet gave him injection. But on the second day, the war of giving him medicine has started. First day it’s fine. He managed to finish 3ml of the medicine (by force).

So, I’ve won the battle on the first day. Still 4 more days to go (need to finish the medicine). I seem to underestimate Oyen’s strength. He recovered already and refuses to take the medicine. While forcing him to take the medicine, Oyen with all the strength started fluttering himself where me and my housemate can’t hold him anymore. He ran away and hide after day. So that’s it. I give up. Futhermore, he’s healthy now ;)

Tuesday evening, right before my working hour ended, I started feeling uncomfortable, and my body temperature is rising. Back home, took panadol before sleep. Woke up the next morning, feeling better.

But, towards the end of the working hour on Wednesday, I started to catch a flu, and my body’s temperature rises again. Back home, look through my medicine box, and took out fever and flu medicines from my previous visit to clinic.

Been on the existing medicine for 3 days, and I didn’t feel better. So decided to visit the doctor (at 1:15am), and the doctor prescribed me stronger medicines.

And here are RM97 worth of medicines (RM40 for Oyen, RM57 for me). Health can be very pricey for us to pay.

Feeling a bit better today, and I’m yet still recovering from my flu. It’s been ages that I didn’t catch a fever this long, where usually, after taking the panadol, I’m recovered the next day.

Talking about long fever, I at one point smiling and laughing alone at night, remembering one incident that happened during my childhood. Whenever I caught fever, I always longing for pineapple juice (made from canned pineapple cube). There was one day, I told my mum I want to drink pineapple juice, and my mum asked my brother to go out and buy, and gave him RM50. I told my brother, if he can’t find pineapple, lychee is fine.

My brother really went out for a long time, and when he came back, he said couldn’t find pineapple or lychee from the nearby grocery shop. The next day, I insisted my mother that I still want pineapple juice, and my mother said that he would like to ask my other brother to go and buy, and ask for the RM50 from my brother that went out last night.

At last, the true stories unfold where my brother accidently dropped that RM50, and he spend really long last night looking for that RM50. And that was 1980s, where RM50 really valued a lot.

So, do I still longing for pineapple cubes juice at this age of mine? HELL YES!!

The 2kg cat’s food that I bought a few days ago almost finished. It’s just the time to get cat’s food at other place as Pets Wonderland at Mid Valley didn’t stock large pack yet.

Went to petsmore.com at Queen’s Park (one of the new place that I go for cat related shopping). So below is my shopping list for today.

Actually, this is the thing that makes me eager to go home, catit Water Fountain. I’ve been seeing this so many times at various pet shops. Normally, it is priced between RM90 to RM98. But today here, it’s RM78. Plus discount for member, the price goes down to RM72.50.

This is the product out of the box. As usual Oyen will accompany me during the box opening. His intention is only one – to get into and sit in the empty box.

Got the fountain washed, and assembled according to the instruction given in the manual. As soon as I switch on the fountain, this is the first impression that my cats made. Maybe what they are saying is; “What the hell is that?”

Just like human, the young ones are the one who get attracted to technology easily. It didn’t take long for the orange kitten to step forward and take the first lick at that water running down from the fountain.

Then came Ebot, curious to see the orange kitten enjoying the drink from this fountain.

Not long after that, the white kitten has his first try drinking from this fountain too.

And again, just like human, the old one always takes time to accept technology, and use it, as Oyen is the last one who tried drinking from this water fountain.

It’s been about 5 months already since the two feral kittens were brought back from Perlis to my house. And during througout the first day, third day and forth day that I documented, I almost lost hope on whether I can tame them or not.

As of today, I just so happy to see how well and healthy both of them are, and they no longer in the feral state.

This is the orange kitten, the fierce one, that kinda hard to be tamed. Looking at him while he was little always reminds me of Naruto. I guess it’s the whiskas.

…and this is the orange kitten today.

This is the friendlier white kitten, but can be fierce at the same time, 5 months ago,

…and this is him now.

Back then, how I can only admire them from far away with both of them being caged,

and now, both are happily spending the time on my bed, which both like it very much if I stroke them.

I really love both of them.
