It’s official now that I will be owning my own house. I have paid the remaining of the 10% down payment, and have signed the Sales & Purchase Agreement (SPA). Will be receiving the signed copy of the agreement in 2 weeks time according to the lawyer.

I guess just to attract people to look for a loan and pay the 10% down payment quickly, the developer is setting up this lucky draw for those who signed the SPA and pay the 10% down payment already. Well, I was there today. The price started with table fan, standing fan, and gets bigger to vacuum cleaner, fridge and air conditioner. And the grand prize is 32-inch LCD TV.

But I always not that lucky to win any of the lucky draw. And it’s so lucky for that “kakak” to walk home with a brand new LCD TV. Gosh. I want that badly. Well, during the lucky draw, the host say something like “does anyone of you having itchy hand today?”. Well, I told my friend I had an itchy feet. There’s a little skin infection (ulat air) between one of my toe, and it’s been like that for 2 weeks already. My friend suggested that I should immerse my feet in hot water.

You guess what? We went to Kolam Air Panas Hulu Tamu at Batang Kali straight after that. This is naturally peoduced hot water anyway, and people said that it has healing capability.

This is where it begins, the water that is heated by geothermal heat in non-volcanic areas. I’m on 50mm lens, and couldn’t get better view of this pool.

Anyway, it really hot. But I don’t know how hot it is. Wish I have the thermometer with me. But it does give a soothing feeling having my toes in the water. But I can only have my toes inside the water for 5 seconds only. And I kinda wondering there’s one uncle there who immerse his whole body in the pool for 5 minutes. I guess I will be cooked if I do that.

Latest addition to my toys. This is really unplanned. I passed by one of the shop selling PSP, and kinda wondering how much new PSP costs now. I’m suprised that it is quite cheap now, and quite excited as well. After I left the shop, I feel a really big urge inside me telling me to get one.

Well, finally I got one. And this is the package that I get. I’m just getting the 2GB memory stick option. I have to pay an extra more if I want to get the 4GB one. I guess I’ll buy that myself in the future.

Sorry. No unboxing process this time. This is the PSP out of the box.

As always, for a every new gaming console/device that I get, there is a whole new world of itself – things like custom firmware, homebrew applications and game ISOs. Just for record, below are ISOs that I owned so far. Muahahaha (Evil grin)

A friend of mine greet me today on YM, and he suddenly ask why I haven’t been updating my blog for so long. Well, this looks like a well known problem of me then – just don’t really know what to blog, and been really busy as always (or lazy as always to update blog)

Looking back at this entry, I did promise to write about my new fridge, since that incident really a historic one that brought me to buy my own house. So I though, this is something to blog for today then.

This is my spoilt 2-year-old fridge. Sigh. Still too new for this to be broken. I’ve spent RM550 already to fix this, and still it’s not functioning well. RM550 – half the price of a new fridge already.

What’s really wrong with this fridge anyway? The sensor & timer that control the compressor is spoilt. Under normal condition, the compressor will stop working automatically when there is frost of the cooling unit, to allow it to melt. And after that, the compressor will work again to cool down the fridge. What happened to my fridge, the compressor is in function all the time, and eventually, so many frost build on the cooling unit making no cool air being channel into the freezer. When it’s not cool enough, all the things in the freezer compartment is melting.

To fix this, I have to switch off the fridge for 1/2 a day to let all the ice melt, and switch the fridge back on, and it will operates normally for 3 days or so until the ice start to build again around the fan area of the cooling unit. Then the process of switching off the fridge has to repeat again. And this is going on for almost a year already, and that is the period of time that I haven’t been cooking at home at all, since I can’t buy any raw meat as there’s no place to store the leftover.

I have enought of that, and I guess it’s time to buy a new fridge. Well, since I want to make a new purchase, let’s get something that give your more satisfaction, even you have to pay a bit more than the normal price. So I’m getting this 640L LG fridge.

The unboxing process. As always, my cats are more excited than me. But it’s rather a pity that I have to tear the box like that. Actually, the box can be lifted up, but since the ceiling of my house is rather low, I can’t do that. And the fridge is just to heavy for me to tilt it forward, and pull the box out. If the box is still in one piece, I guess that will be a good toy for my cat.

Finally, here is my new fridge, next to the old one. Just don’t know what to do to the old one. I guess I will sell it as scrap to any recycle centre.

I just hope that I have the courage to write a few more back dated entries in this blog prior to this entry. So, stay tuned!

And that is just exactly how I feel now. My heart has been crumpled so tiny. Want to see that leave application form on fire? Nope I won’t do that as it will trigger the fire alarm and water sprinkler in this building. But that is just what I feel inside as well, burning!!! Sigh. I don’t know. I’m so emotional lately. Just got out from a meeting with my boss, my “ex-boss” and HR manager. Nothing serious, but……. I will write more if I feel like it…….

I don’t know, this email from my boss really gets to my nerves.

As you know so many project need you personal support at the moment, can you not take last week of June instead take in couple month later when most of the programmer on track?

If you worry about losing your 2007 leave which I will talk to H.R to sort it out.

I told her a while ago about me going to finish up my 4 days annual leave from last year during the last week of June, and I have plans laid down already for this precious 1 week leave, and now she’s asking me to cancel it.

I’m a step closer in owning my own house. Late yesterday, I got a from the banker that’s handling my housing loan that my loan is already approved. Was suppose to meet her last night, but due to the massive traffic jam caused by the 40% increase in the fuel price (thanks Pak Lah!), I don’t think it’s a good idea to go out that time, so we plan to meet up at Mid Valley today because she needs to explain about the offer letter.

It turned out that I’m not feeling well today, and call office for sick leave. SMS the banker that I can’t meet today. But she told me maybe we can meet at my house. Well why not. So here is it, the offer letter that I got for the housing loan from OCBC bank.

I have a few other loan application that I made at other banks, but looking at what OCBC has to offer, I think this should be a good choice. Been reading from forum as well about OCBC Housing Loan, and didn’t find any bad stories about it. Furthermore agent that handle my loan is very nice and very responsive. So I put my signature on the offer letter.

So next, I just need to wait for the lawyer to call for appoitment to sign the agreement.
