Ebot – A cat from foster house

As promised, the entry this time is about the forth cat that was depicted in the previous post. As a matter of facts, this is a really past tense entry.

On 11th February, me, my housemate and 2 of my friends from Penang decided to go to SPCA. We have nothing to do for the day, and it will be a great thing to visit animal foster house like this, watching cats that they have. I heard of PAWS (Paws Animal Welface Socienty) from a website that I stumble upon on seach engine a while ago, and suggested to go the first.

So here we are, and the enterance of PAWS Malaysia, Subang. Not too hard to find with the map given on PAWS Malaysia website.

Basically, the place is divided into 2 sections – 1 section for dogs, and another one for cats. Well, it’s the cat section that I have interest in. There are quite a number of kittens/cats here, in a well organized and maintained place.

If you are looking for domestic short hairbreed cat, then this is the place to come, as I believe most of the cats are brought here from astray cats that people found. They sometimes have other breeds too, but that depends on luck on whether they have one that’s not adopted yet.

Anyway, it’s rather sad to see how all those cats end up being here. I feel like bringing all of them back to my home, but it is just I cant. But out of all cats, this one really catch my attention. And he is very friendly too.

So I decided to adopt him. So the caretaker there told me that it will be RM30. I didn’t plan to adopt any, and didn’t bring my pet carrier with me. But they have this paper pet carrier sold at RM10. Well, for the sake of charity, I don’t mind paying that price.

So, the next step is to go into the office, and fill in the necessary form. Sorry, I don’t have photo to show, as the person inside is so paranoid with me taking photos inside. Well, I should respect that, and refrain myself from taking any photo inside. Anyway, that fella did ask me why I want to take photo. I just said that I only use it for blogging purposes. Then he ask, what is blog? Err.. What is blog arr? I just told him that it is just my online diary.

Anyway, RM30, it’s really good price. The cat has been neutered, and all 3 vacinnes have been given, and the cat has also dewormed. So, this is the story on how I get Ebot – my forth cat (and this will be the final cat that I will get).
