How trustworthy newspaper is?

I usually starts my day at office with reading the Berita Harian and Utusan Malaysia newspaper on the internet. Well, it is a free way of keeping you updated with the news that happened here in Malaysia.

It comes to my attention that almost everyday there will be a story on fatal acciddent. And there are 2 of such fatal accident on today’s newspaper (Monday, September 12 2005).

There is this news of toddler killed in accident, which I have taken the screenshot here.

Notice anything from the 2 posts? Yeap. One is reporting that the toddler is 22 months old, and the other one is reporting 10 months old.

Now, the reliability of the stories written to us in the newspapers has taken my attention, kickig away my main intention of reading the news on the increasing numbers of fatal accidents in Malaysia.
