Visiting Taman Metropolitan Kepong
It’s my first time here. I’m following my friends to FRIM to gather information about the photography competition, and I happened to arrive late and they are all already headed to Taman Metropolitan Kepong.
So many kites on display here, with so many prices – RM3 for small one, and RM5 for big one. But wait. There are fine lines below that. That’s only the price of the kite, and you have to pay extra for thread, and thread holder. At the end, you end up spending RM15 for the whole set.
It such an overwhelming feeling to see so many kites been soared here. A few photos that I manage to capture.
Well, it’s getting dark, and it’s time to leave. Well, actually it’s not this dark. I meter my camera on the cloud, and the foreground became silhouette.
It’s quite jam on the way out towards Batu Caves. Oh no wonder. It’s Thaipusam today.

Hi Imran,
I’m finding a shop that sells puzzle of 3000 pieces. And fortunately, I’ve come across your blog! So if possible, could you please tell me the name of the shop and its exact location? I’m on wheelchair and thus, it’s tiring for me to wheel around 1 Utama looking for the shop. Your response is much appreciated. Thank you!
(I’ve sent you an e-mail. You can reply through it)
James: Hi there. Got your email. Will reply soon
