“Balik Kampung” for Aidilfitri 1434H/2013M

It’s that time of the year again. Being afar from my hometown, I just can’t explain the joy of “balik kampung” during this festive season. I decided to take slightly longer leave this time. Will be spending 10 days in my hometown.

Bought a few pack of raya cookies for my mum. There are so many to choose, and sometimes when there are to many to choose, it is not a good thing too. I hope the one that I got here tastes good.

And the tradition of giving “duit raya” continues. And there is a new comer in the family – Wafri which just turned 7 months. There is a plan to recycle RM1 and RM5 notes this year. Luckily I just happened to be at the bank on the first day that the new notes are available for exchange. So I managed to get new notes for RM1 and RM5.

Some of the collection of money envelope for this year. Not as much as I managed to collect for last year. I like the RHB one the most – simple yet elegance.

This is the bag that I love the most that contains all of the gadgets. I’m packing my DSLR as usual as there surely a lot of photos that I will take.

I’m getting the eTicket and boarding pass printed as well, just in case, even though producing IC will suffice for baggage drop.

At the time of this writing, it is just about 4 and 1/2 hours to go before I embark the flight, and begin my “balik kampung” jorney for this year.
