Happy New Year 2013

It’s the final day of the first month of 2013. I guess it’s not that too last (since we are still in January) to wish you all happy new year.

It is very unlikely of me not to blog on the first day of the year. Well I have to say, towards the end of 2012, I’m a bit down. While everybody is away enjoying their holiday, I have to work on Christmas day, and lots of server issue happened during this time, where very little support received from those guys that look after the server.

And I’m on duty again on 1st Jan. Well. That’s the nature of my work, that sometimes I feel it is just too much of it make me to sacrifice they day that everyone is having a rest, partying the night before for some.

Not to mention, the compensation that I got for working on public holiday is not really worth it. Some other people are getting triple pay, which how it supposed to be. It’s not that I never went to HR to talk about this, but policy is the policy that this has to be standard according to HR. I’ll rest my case.
