LG Blu-ray Disc Rewriter and Kingston HyperX Solid-State Drive

Despite my Core 2 Quad PC at home is aging now (eyeing to build a new system using i7 processor), I’m still upgrading it to use the latest technology.

The one that I have in mind to upgrade is using Blu-ray burner, and using Solid-State Drive. Been using SSD on my Macbook Air, I just love how fast and how reponsive things are when using SSD.

So here you go, the result of visiting Low Yat Plaza today – LG Blu-ray Disc Rewriter and Kingston HyperX 3K (240GB) SSD.

SSD is getting cheaper nowadays. The 240GB one used to be priced at RM1.5k, but now I’m getting this one only for RM910.

A little unboxing process. It does come together with 3.5″ bracket so that I can install it to the HDD slot on my computer.

This particular one (Kingston HyperX) does really have a good review and good performance compared to the other brands with a similar capacity.
