Tiring ‘Office Keeping’

Ahhh. I feel very refresh after having a nice and sound sleep in my 16 degrees celcius room. Was too tired when came back from doing ‘officekeeping’. It’s blog time again.

I don’t really remember when was the last time I went to office during weekend. As long as I have internet at my house. Usually, going to office during weekend is for my casual internet browsing needs, where sometimes I have work also to be finished that time.

Today, I need to tidy up my super mess table. Didn’t have time to do it yesterday after I get my new PC.

Crack my head for a while to find out where is the best place to place the CPU. Can’t put it on table since my 21-inch monitor is taking up all the space already. Don’t want to put it under the table either since the CPU size is small, and it will be hard for me to reach the CD-ROM drive whenever I need to insert any CD.

Finally. Found out the best place to put it. It’s the gap between my table and my side drawer. I measure up the height of this gap. It’s 10.5cm height.

Now the moment of truth. Will the CPU fit here. I tried to slide in the CPU. Doh!!. It doesn’t fit. The CPU unit is 11.43cm in height.

Somehow, the table needs to be lifted up a bit. It’s time for Bob The Builder. Hehehe. Nah. Just kidding.

I went down to Ace Hardware shop, and browse through all the things that they there, hoping to find something that I can use. Yes. Just found the thing that I need. It’s a rubber that you can glue to the bottom of the table.

Then the hardwork begin by removing all the items on my table, take the table out, put it outside down, and glue the rubber thing.

After all that tiring work, the moment of truth again. Yes!! It finally fit. Then I have to do the rewiring of my computer all over again. Another time consuming thing, tidying up the tangling cables under the table.

Now everything is in place. Phew. What a tiring day.
