Visiting last PIKOM PC Fair for 2008

I have nothing in mind to buy actually, but since I’m bored to death at home yesterday, just decided to pay a visit to PC Fair today. LRT seems to be the best option for commuting.

It’s nice to have many exhibitors gathering together at the same place where we have more options for comparing price, but in reality, it’s hard to do so. The place is jammed pack with thousands of people, and it’s really hard to move around and to walk fast. I spent almost 5 hours in the halls browsing through things that interest me. Not to mention, there’s so many funny smells as well for people there. I’m kinda suffocated. Feels like there’s no ventilation at all.

Well, due this is the end of the year PC Fair, I cannot expect that there will be something new to see. People rather wait for 2009 to introduce new products. In spite not having anything in mind for things to buy on my way there, I happened to spend RM405 blindly.

  • Touch N Go top-up. Queuing for ticket will be a nightmare (RM50)
  • Verbatim DVD-R 100 pcs (RM88)
  • Kingston 16GB CF Card for my Canon EOS 40D (RM135)
  • 2 x Kingston 2GB DDR2 800 SODIMM (2 x RM66 = RM132)

Ouch! That’s just another reason why I hate going there.

whoaa….. nightmare and a dream. The dream is when you are surrounded by all those tech gadgets. Even when you have to open up your wallet and pay the substantial amount, the nightmare begins when you realize that total sum you’ve spent on the things you bought? (necessary or not?)

    Wish i am MYR1M richer.

    Cheers,
