Leospirit Chatter Box
Lately, I noticed that my tagboard is not very attractive. And also, it’s quite buggy especially when smilies or bbcode are used where the text are not parsed properly.
I went to my favourite HotScripts.com website to find if there is any other nice free tagboard code that I can use.
Then I came across the following Leospirit Chatter Box, which in my opinion, the best chatter box/tagboard/shout box (or whatever you call it) that I have seen.
The creator for this is Malaysian I think, since when I did the WHOIS on the domain, it is registered in Malaysia. And also, in the forum, Malaysian’s English slang is used everywhere.
Anyhow, the bad news is, it’s not free. USD12 per year is quite expensive I think due to the fact that there are quite a number of free ones out there, even though it is not as attractive as this one.
Furthermore, it is a hosting service. If I can get the source code, and I can install it on my own web hosting, I would consider paying USD12 for it. But who wants to release the source code, where a few moment later, it is available everywhere to be downloaded (illegally of course).
I will have to keep searching I guess, hoping to find something free and nice. But I really have to change my tagboard to a newer one.

Actually, USD12 per year isn’t expensive if compare to others similar paid service. I have make some comparison before i fixed the price anyway, and guess what i even found those with a price of USD34++.
Anyway I am not here to advertise or something like that. I just drop by to ask whether you would like to have a free chatterbox? It’s a offer, by me sincerely.
I created this for fun during my after-SPM holidays. Requiring people to pay is just for maintaining the site (so that I have enough money to pay the hosting company 😛 ).
