My second Google Adsense payment using Western Union Quick Cash

Thank you Mr Google. You’re just here when I need you most.

As what’s being talked widely across Malaysian’s bloggers, I opt for Western Union Quick Cash this time. It’s true. It’s so easy to receive your payment, compared to receiving it via check last time.

Like what other said, there is no notification at all from Google that I have payment waiting. What I did was to My Account tab, go to Payment History link and look for the Payment issued item in the summary. Next to it there is payment details link, and upon clicking that, I see the below:

I print off the payment details, make a photocopy of my IC (after reading other blog about how to receive Western Union payment) and headed off to CIMB which is downstairs of my office. How convinient.

I just take the Western Union form with the yellow header that says Western Union | Money Transfer. Sounds confusing right? But luckily there is another line that says To receive money. I filled it in, and get the queue number. Luckily they have special counter that handles Western Union, sharing with ASNB counter. Believe me. Not much people are doing ASNB transaction here. I don’t have to wait long at all.

Contrary to what other said, the banker didn’t actually ask the photocopy of my IC, nor asking the purpose of the money. I guess the amount is not that big, and they just don’t bother.

I’m getting out CIMB bank with several extra hundreds Ringgit in my wallet, and smile on my face. Now you should know why I get my new phone 😉
