House renovation planning outing

Got the news that the key for Casa Idaman will be given sometimes this month. I’m really excited, and thus makes me dying to look around and plan for the renovation that I will do to my new condo.

First visit is Courts to survey the price of air conditioner. Thinking of buying 2 more units for the other rooms.

As as for the living room, I plan to get the mini cassette type, if the financial and ceiling height clearance permit 🙂

Talking about ceiling, this sets the second destination for me today – finding plaster ceiling shop to survey the price. Found this shop at Setapak.

Talk a bit with this guy about plaster ceiling. Now I have more understanding about what’s the procedure like.

Third stop, Houz Depot. This is the alternative for Ikea I have to say. The price are quite reasonable here too.

If Ikea has their catalogue, Houz Depot have one too. Actually, the content of the both versions pretty much the same. There’s also an e-version available on their website too.

Final stop for today, before I get all exhausted is Modern Home Fair at Mid Valley Megamall. There are a few things here that I found it’s cheaper at Houz Depot.

These are pretty much my reading materials now. I have to put computer, gadgets and photography magazines aside for a while.

Of course, it’s ok to set high expectation of of how I want my dream house to be, and I will refine and prioritize this list over time. Below are basically some of the things that I want
