New Year’s eve at Brisdale hotel

Alimin checked in at Brisdale hotel as usual. At at around 8pm on 31st December 2005, we went out to Times Square for dinner and walk around. We just took monorail from Chow Kit station (just a walking distance from Brisdale hotel) and stop at Imbi station, and went straight into Times Square.

The monorail really packed at this hour, and there are massive traffic on the road. It’s really lucky that we didn’t really go out by car. It seems that everybody is stopping at Bukit Bintang.

I hate this big crowd, so does everybody. So we just decided to get back to hotel, and watch the fireworks show from the hotel’s window.

As you can see, there are 3 places that did the fireworks show that night

• KLCC
• Dataran Merdeka
• Bukit Bintang

with Bukit Bintang having the longest fireworks display.

Too bad that we are rather at the back side of the show with building blocking the view. Well, that raps up my pathetic new year celebration.
