great review ! How is the speed of Internet Tethering in ur PC. ?

  5. Imran says:

Hi Anonymous. It would be the same as what I get when using 3G modem last time. But since this is iPhone 3G, you won't be getting the HSDPA connection, which is fast. You can get that only if you upgrade to iPhone 3GS (when they're here) πŸ˜‰

Very very good review. In KL. Singapore iPhone 3G full unlock. Downloading 3.0 now from *ahem* websites.

Thanks for all the quick review. Support for MMS and tethering with no configuration, very promising.

  8. Imran says:

hanum: tnx. hehe.. puji lebih2 plak. dah kembang lubang hidung ni

anonymous: it turned out the one that mr *ahem* offered is the final one already, the one that is on itunes now. so happy downloading and upgrading πŸ˜‰

Slm Imran. Really a nice review. I just upgrade my 2G to 3.0, love the landscape capability and i can use MMS.

For Jef.. Install the file “ActivateMMS2G” from the ispazio repo in Cydia. If you are using Maxis, it will automatically configure the MMS. After install go to SETTING, there is an option for MESSAGES and you can set MMS there.

Salam arzeq. Hey no worries. And thanks also for the MMS setting for other telco. That would help others a lot πŸ˜‰ If you don’t mind, I want to blog about those setting in a new separate entry. Will give credit to you.

    Hi Friends,

I’m Chidananda from India. I have been using iPhone (2.1 Version) for the past few months. Currently I’m in Kuala Lumpur. I wanted to upgrade my iPhone OS to 3.0. As I don’t have any computer with me, I was searching for centre in KL where I can get my OS upgraded.

Can you guys suggest any place in KL where I can get my OS upgraded to 3.0 for about 50 RM along with few applications?

    Terima kashi.

    Waiting for your reply..

  17. Imran says:

    Hi Chidananda.
I guess the best place for you to go is either “Sungai Wang Plaza” or “Low Yat Plaza”. Both are next to each other. Just ask around and go for the shop that offers you the best price.

  18. Chidananda says:

Thanks Imran. Will check the shops around Sungai Wang Plaza. Had already checked at Low Yat Plaza. Could not get good deal. I’m looking for a good price at around 50-75 RM.

    Thanks.
